Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Technologist to join our healthcare team. Location: Des Moines Metro Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Flexible full-time schedule of 32 or 40 hours per week We want YOU to join the Iowa Rad family! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping us continue to be the premier provider of radiologic services in Iowa by providing high-quality imaging services, ensuring patient safety, and delivering accurate diagnostic information. Mammography training is available for anyone interested! Responsibilities: Producing diagnostic exams following established protocols and guidelines. Utilizing general x-ray, bone densitometry and fluoroscopy to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately communicate imaging findings. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in technology and techniques to provide optimal services to patients. Following established protocols for infection control and patient safety during all procedures. Qualifications: ARRT certification and a current Iowa permit to practice in general radiography is required. Excellent patient care and communication skills are essential Some lifting is involved with this position.
