Summary: 

• Performs machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, tube bending, and fabrication tasks.

• Performs composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.

• Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.

• Assembles, repairs, modifies, and installs various power plants and drive trains.

• Performs soldering on electronic and avionics products.

• Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products.

• Prepares test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to perform various tests.

• Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.

• Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.

• Works on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly processes and procedures.

• 1+ year of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, or other specialized computer applications.

• 1+ year of experience following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications.

• Ability to perform machine set-up, machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.

• Ability to perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly.

• Ability to assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.

• Ability to assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products.

• Ability to perform soldering on electronic and avionics products.

• Ability to prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices for various tests.
