Summary:
Performs machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, tube bending, and fabrication tasks.
Performs composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.
Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
Assembles, repairs, modifies, and installs various power plants and drive trains.
Performs soldering on electronic and avionics products.
Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products.
Prepares test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to perform various tests.
Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.
Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.
Works on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
1+ year of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly processes and procedures.
1+ year of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, or other specialized computer applications.
1+ year of experience following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications.
Ability to perform machine set-up, machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.
Ability to perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly.
Ability to assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
Ability to assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products.
