Description
Guthrie is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its growing team at Guthrie Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-spectrum general gastroenterology in an established hospital-based setting with a strong regional referral base, collaborative medical staff, and the support of a fully integrated health system.

Practice general gastroenterology with a mix of outpatient clinic, endoscopy, and inpatient consultative care
Work within a collaborative, multispecialty environment supported by experienced clinical and operational teams
Serve a strong regional referral base across the Greater Binghamton and Southern Tier communities
Opportunity to help support continued growth of GI services at Lourdes as part of Guthrie’s integrated system of care
Access to modern endoscopy services, hospital-based resources, and coordinated specialty support
Opportunity to participate in quality improvement, service development, and system-level clinical collaboration
Candidate Requirements
Unwavering commitment to our mission of improving health through clinical excellence and compassion; every patient, every time
MD or DO with completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Eligible for or holding an active New York medical license
Strong clinical skills in general gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures
ERCP and/or EUS training is welcome but not required
Commitment to patient-centered care, clinical quality, teamwork, and professional collaboration
Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with referring providers, patients, and care teams
