    Description

    Guthrie is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its growing team at Guthrie Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-spectrum general gastroenterology in an established hospital-based setting with a strong regional referral base, collaborative medical staff, and the support of a fully integrated health system.

    Highlights of the Position

    • Join an established Gastroenterology practice at Guthrie Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY
    • Practice general gastroenterology with a mix of outpatient clinic, endoscopy, and inpatient consultative care
    • Work within a collaborative, multispecialty environment supported by experienced clinical and operational teams
    • Serve a strong regional referral base across the Greater Binghamton and Southern Tier communities
    • Opportunity to help support continued growth of GI services at Lourdes as part of Guthrie’s integrated system of care
    • Access to modern endoscopy services, hospital-based resources, and coordinated specialty support
    • Opportunity to participate in quality improvement, service development, and system-level clinical collaboration

    Candidate Requirements

    • Unwavering commitment to our mission of improving health through clinical excellence and compassion; every patient, every time
    • MD or DO with completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
    • Eligible for or holding an active New York medical license
    • Strong clinical skills in general gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures
    • ERCP and/or EUS training is welcome but not required
    • Commitment to patient-centered care, clinical quality, teamwork, and professional collaboration
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with referring providers, patients, and care teams
