General Cleaner/ Kai Vac Tech at Marsden Central California

Shift: Tuesday/Saturdays 

Tuesday/Friday 5pm-1:30am or 6pm-2:30am

Saturdays - 1pm-9:30pm

Hourly Rate: 18.00

Location: Sacramento, CA

Requirements:

• You must be 18 years old.
• General cleaner experience preferred
• For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.
• A pre-employment criminal background check are required.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs sometimes more.

Job Duties:

• As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail.

You will be:

• Emptying wastebaskets and recyclables and transporting to disposal area.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors using brooms, mops and manual or backpack vacuum cleaners. Some floors may require scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
• Stocking and Replenishes Supplies

Requires following safety policies and procedures (such as locking doors, using proper chemicals and reporting incidents).

• Cleaning Restrooms
• Taking out the trash

• Sanitizing

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Using KAIVAC Equipment and machines
2. Scrubbing restrooms floors and walls with machines
3. Sweeping
4. Mopping
5. Carrying equipment
6. Pushing machines
7. Constant walking
8. Standing up for long periods of time
9. Be willing to train on floor care

Qualifications and Requirements:

Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred;

*Experience with deep cleaning equipment strongly desired.
*Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
*Comfort using mobile devices and basic software applications for reporting and timekeeping.
*Ability to drive a cart on-site, as required.
*Must comply with all safety and PPE requirements, including wearing slip-resistant, steel-toe, or hard-toe footwear at all times.
