Job Summary ------------
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the General Kitchen Worker position performs a variety of duties relating to patient meal services.
Minimum Qualifications ----------------------
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Previous experience strongly preferred.
Licensure and/or Certification: None required.
Skills: • Demonstrated safe and sanitary working practices. • Ability to maintain confidential information. • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and meal tickets. • Excellent customer service skills. • Ability to interact with patients, employees, family members, staff, and other customers in a positive and hospitable manner. • Computer skills to check Hospital email and perform other training and mandatory requirements. • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
