The General Kitchen Worker maintains all kitchen areas in a clean, safe manner.
The incumbent cleans floors and kitchen areas daily, cleans larger equipment according to schedule, and performs duties in dishroom. Receives and stores food properly, performs duties in patient service area, and provides general assistance throughout department
Maintains a clean and safe kitchen and serving mall.
Performs all job duties in dish room.
Completes assigned duties for patient service area.
Receives and stores food properly according to standard policy and procedure.
Completes assigned duties within department.
Performs other job-related duties as required.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Requires fair amount of dexterity to handle china. Requires being able to lift, move and/or carry boxes of supplies, china and loaded trays or trash weighing up to 50 pounds.
Proficiency in the English language required.
