Pay: $14–$15/hour + Incentives & Bonus ProgramsPosition OverviewThe Plastic Packer / Press Operator is responsible for operating molding equipment, ensuring product quality, and packaging finished plastic parts according to company standards. This role also supports production efficiency by maintaining equipment, monitoring processes, and assisting with training when needed.Key Responsibilities
  • Review and follow job-specific operating instructions prior to production
  • Operate hydraulic and/or injection molding presses according to set-up sheets
  • Load presses with material and ensure continuous production flow
  • Monitor molding processes and record production data as required
  • Inspect finished parts for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Trim, descale, or finish parts using hand tools and equipment
  • Assemble and package products according to company and customer specifications
  • Maintain organized work areas and perform general housekeeping duties
  • Gather and prepare necessary equipment for job setups
  • Assist with training new employees as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Comfortable working with machinery and hand tools
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Prior manufacturing or plastics experience is a plus (not required)
Compensation & Incentives
  • Hourly Pay: $14–$15/hour
  • Incentive Pay Programs: Opportunities for additional earnings based on performance, attendance, and production goals
  • Bonus Opportunities: May include attendance bonuses, productivity bonuses, or safety incentives (varies by shift/company policy)
