What Youll Do
As a General Metal Shop Laborer, you will be responsible for:
- Assembling and cleaning aluminum parts using hand tools such as drills and grinders
- Prepping raw materials by removing protective plastic from pieces
- Packaging finished products for shipment or distribution
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Supporting team members with various shop tasks as needed
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Experience with production processes or general labor work is a plus, but training is provided
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, including drills, grinders, sanders, and saws
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks comfortably
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs regularly
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the company, with an interest in fabrication, welding, or machine operation a big plus
