This position is responsible for the sorting and processing of recyclable materials, as well as performing various manual tasks that may include cleaning, moving materials, assembling products, and assisting the Supervisor in other daily operations of the Department. Materials can include cardboard, plastics, and/or metals,
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist warehouse operations by material sorting and processing
Support Baler Operations by sorting/feeding material supply on the conveyor
Use of a box knife and brooms/shovels to process materials
Able to stack and move light materials/pallets for processing
Various team project work as assigned by warehouse management
Maintains a safe and clean work environment
Adhere to company safety programs, policies, and procedures while completing work tasks.
Comply with State and Federal regulations
Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements:
18 years or older to apply
Authorized to work in the United States
Dependable and Reliable
Excellent Attendance and ability to work overtime, up to 10 hrs/week, M-F
Able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
Physical demands include lifting, standing, bending, and pushing for long periods
Work Environment
The warehouse setting is exposed to outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, and cold/hot temperatures.
Exposed to normal work hazards, including a variety of physical conditions, moving vehicles, and machines.
Fast-paced manufacturing environment with some allergen products.
