    Description

    Pay Rate $19.33 per hour + $.50 shift premium

    2nd shift

    Position Summary

    General Labor Level II Team Members are responsible for building boxes, wrapping pallets, and transporting pallets of materials, ingredients, and finished goods between staging areas and production lines. Team Members are expected to follow all GMP, safety and quality standards while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. This position may require additional training, such as mobile equipment certification.

    Job Functions

    • Assemble boxes and prepare packaging materials.
    • Stage empty pallets for palletizing and palletize complete boxes onto pallets.
    • Troubleshoot and adjust tape machines and coders as needed.
    • Transfer pallets of ingredients, materials, trash, and other items between the production floor and staging areas as required.
    • At the end of the shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties, and complete all required paperwork.
    • Follow all food safety, GMP, USDA, safety, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
    • Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
    • Must meet the company standards and line speed requirements for the job.
    • Must be able to follow instructions.
    • Must be able to understand and follow all written SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures).
    • Must be able to understand and comply with SDSs (Safety Data Sheets).
    • Must be able to obtain mobile certification.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
    • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
    • Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery.
    • Must be able to wear required PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, waterproof gear, and other protective equipment.
