Job Title: General Laborer
Overview: A General Laborer plays a crucial role in manufacturing and production.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling: Transport raw materials such as clay, sand, and other aggregates to the production area using equipment like forklifts or wheelbarrows.
Production Support: Assist in the manufacturing process by operating machinery such as presses and mixers under the supervision of skilled workers.
Quality Control: Inspect product for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. Discard or set aside defective product for further processing or disposal.
Cleaning: Keep the production area clean and organized.
Stacking and Packaging: Stack finished materials onto pallets according to specified patterns or instructions. Prepare and pack product for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, machine operators, and other team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Follow instructions and contribute to a positive work environment.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors.
