Performs manual tasks like sorting, lifting, stacking, and loading used tires of all sizes in an industrial or outdoor yard environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Tire Handling: Unload, load, sort, count, and stack tires ranging from passenger cars to heavy truck and tractor sizes.
- Lacing Loads: Learn how to safely "lace" (interlock) tires inside trailers to maximize space and secure loads for transport.
- Customer Support: Assist visitors and customers with offloading scrap tires at the facility.
- Plant & Yard Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Safety Compliance: Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) like steel-toe boots and gloves, and report safety hazards immediately
