Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual to support daily cleaning and facility upkeep. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. The ideal candidate takes initiative, stays productive throughout the shift, and is flexible in assisting with various cleaning tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the breakroom is cleaned and ready prior to the 10:00 AM break
- Remove trash from designated cans and transport it to waste hoppers
- Empty waste hoppers (training on forklift operation will be provided)
- Maintain cleanliness of aisle ways throughout the day
- Monitor trash levels and breakroom conditions, performing touch-ups as needed
- Assist with additional cleaning tasks, including equipment and machinery, when applicable
- Attend and actively participate in all required safety and shop meetings
Work Expectations:
- Maintain a high level of productivity and remain on task throughout the shift
- Demonstrate flexibility to take on additional cleaning duties as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Schedule & Breaks:
- Breaks: 10:00 AM – 10:15 AM and 2:00 PM – 2:15 PM
- Lunch: 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay busy with minimal supervision
- Dependable and punctual
- Willingness to learn new skills, including forklift operation
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
