General Laborer/Forklift Operator
Job Duties:- Assist with sweeping and general clean-up of the new facility
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Assemble small parts on actuators
- Neatly zip-tie and secure cords
- Package fertilizer products according to specifications
- Move finished, packaged fertilizer onto pallets for shipment or storage
- Ensure pallets are stacked and organized properlyOperates lift trucks, pallet jacks or hand trucks to convey or move materials to proper departments or areas.
- Utilizing a radio frequency (RF) scanner, scans inventory moves to track inventory.
- Processes daily LTL and parcel shipments.
- Operates the shrink wrap machines.
- Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with appropriate person to rectify damages and shortages.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods. Other duties as assigned.
Pay: $18/hour - temp to hire opportunity!
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, some Saturdays (6am-11am)
