General Labor – Rebar Production (Temp-to-Hire) Starting Wage: $18.00/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (plus overtime as needed)
About the Role
Local rebar construction company is seeking hardworking and reliable General Laborers to join our Rebar Production Department. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay and benefits after the probationary period. You will assist with daily rebar production tasks, shipping/receiving, inventory, and general yard work. No experience is required—we will train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Assist with loading/unloading trucks
Clean product and return to inventory
Count and tag inventory items
Assist rebar machine operator with bundling rebar product
Yard and shop cleanup (indoor & outdoor work in varying weather)
Order selection and shipping/receiving support
Operate forklift (experience a plus; training and certification available)
Perform other duties as assigned in the Rebar Department
Requirements
Authorized to work in the United States
Reliable transportation to and from work
Steel-toed boots required
Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand, bend, and stretch throughout shift
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be able to read and speak English for inventory and tagging
Pass background check
Preferred Skills
Previous general labor, warehouse, or construction experience (not required)
Forklift experience (will train and certify on the job)
