General Labor – Industrial (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)

Location: Spokane, WA
Job Type: 3-Month Contract (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 40 Hours/Week
Shift: Day Shift (Schedule may vary based on business needs; overtime and occasional weekends may be required)

Sigma, Inc. is seeking a General Labor – Industrial professional to join our onsite team in Spokane, WA. The right candidate will have strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and comfort performing repetitive tasks in a production setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor and industrial housekeeping duties in a manufacturing environment.
• Sweep and shovel feed materials in a dusty industrial setting.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform repetitive production activities while following supervisor instructions.
• Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Walk and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently use stairs throughout the facility (up to 7 flights throughout the workday).
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Perform basic counting and math calculations as needed.
• Occasionally use company computer equipment and systems.

Requirements:

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a dusty industrial environment.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to safety guidelines and workplace procedures.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Steel toe shoes required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks.
• Requires frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and stair climbing.
• Good mobility and ability to work on your feet for prolonged periods.

Important Notes:

• This is a housekeeping/general labor role in a dusty industrial environment.
• Candidates will not operate forklifts.
• Training will be provided on the job.
• Previous industrial, warehouse, production, manufacturing, or general labor experience is a plus.
