Job Title: General Laborer
Location: Kearney, NE
Pay: $17.45/hour
Shift: Monday Friday, 6: 00 AM 2: 30 PM or 7: 00 AM 3: 30 PM
Overtime: Some Saturdays as needed
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary (June 1 July 31, potential extension)
Position Overview
We are hiring General Laborers for a seasonal assignment in a seed/corn warehouse. This role involves hands-on work supporting warehouse operations, including handling materials, maintaining equipment and assisting with general labor tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Replace hardware on bulk seed boxes
Stack, move and handle corn seed bags
Perform general warehouse and labor duties as assigned
Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
Support team operations to meet production goals
Qualifications & Requirements
Must be able to work the full seasonal assignment
No allergies to corn or seed products
Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently
Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus
Strong work ethic and reliability
Excellent attendance required
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry and stack materials up to 50+ lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending and lifting throughout the shift
Ability to work in a warehouse environment
Work Environment
Seed/corn warehouse setting
Exposure to dust and agricultural materials
