General Laborer / Maintenance

Shift: 5 days per week, 10-hour shifts
Salary: $18.50 per hour

General Laborer / Maintenance Role

This position maintains a clean, safe, organized, and efficient manufacturing facility while supporting general maintenance and production-support activities throughout the shop. It exists to ensure seamless daily operations and assist machine operators in a hands-on production environment.

General Laborer / Maintenance Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the manufacturing facility
  

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized production, shop, storage, and common areas
  

• Dispose of shop waste and empty trash following proper facility guidelines
  

• Clean machines, equipment, floors, and surrounding production areas
  

• Perform light facility maintenance and assist with minor repairs as directed
  

• Support machine operators and production employees with general labor duties
  

• Transport materials, tooling, supplies, and finished components throughout the shop
  

• Report facility, equipment, or maintenance concerns to the Production Supervisor
  

General Laborer / Maintenance Reporting Relationships

This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and has no direct reports.

About You

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  

• Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
  

• Utilize basic hand tools safely and effectively
  

• Maintain strong attendance, punctuality, and dependability
  

• Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks independently
  

• Prioritize cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety
  

• Show interest in machining, CNC equipment, or precision manufacturing processes
  

• Hold previous experience in general labor, manufacturing, or a machine-shop setting
