Job Summary:
Mitchell Equipment Corporation is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our assembly team. This position supports a variety of shop activities including parts painting, mechanical assembly clean machines in machine shop. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual who is comfortable working in a dynamic shop environment and willing to take on a range of tasks as needed. Training provided.


Key Responsibilities:

• Operate basic machinery such as spray painting with spry guns, drill presses, band saws, and grinders
  
  
• Assemble Hydraulic Hoses
  
  
• Assembly Hydraulic Fittings on valves
  
  
• Assist fabricators and machinists with general shop tasks
  
  
• Load and unload materials using carts, dollies, or forklifts (if certified)
  
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  
  
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a fabrication or machine shop preferred, but not required
  
  
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate shop tools
  
  
• Willingness to learn and take direction
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  
  
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Fork Lift Operator
  
  

Work Environment:

• Indoor fabrication shop environment with steel, machinery, and power tools
  
  
• Safety gear (PPE) provided and required
