Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Laborer to join a small, team-oriented manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be cross-trained across multiple areas of the shop, with the opportunity to advance into batch-making responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow batch tickets/recipes to mix materials accurately
- Measure and add ingredients by weight and volume
- Operate mixers, tumblers, and production equipment
- Package, label, and palletize finished products
- Prepare shipments using UPS/FedEx systems
- Load/unload raw materials (bags, drums, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist in other areas of production as needed
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in a warm, dusty, and chemical-based environment
- Basic math skills (measurement, quantities, etc.)
- Ability to follow detailed instructions/recipes
- Willingness to learn and work in multiple areas
- Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
- Steel-toe boots required
Work Environment
- Small team (6–9 people on the production floor)
- Hands-on, physically active role
- Exposure to powders, chemicals, and heat processes
- PPE provided (gloves, masks, safety glasses, etc.)
- Locker provided—employees change clothes onsite
