OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a reliable General Laborer to support our team with hands-on tasks like ordinary construction (framing walls, installing flooring), wiring, assembling components, and reading simple schematics or instructions. As General Labor, you will be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the plant and production floor. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment helping build and test our systems, both in-house and at customer sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general labor duties including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining production floor and facility
• Assist with basic plant maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep
• Support the electrical team with wiring and assembly of equipment under supervision
• Read and follow basic schematics and assembly instructions when assisting electrical or production teams
• Help position and align components, parts, or subassemblies manually or with lifting equipment
• Use hand tools, power tools, or machines to support assembly work
• Assist with inventory control: sorting, labeling, organizing, and stocking parts and materials
• Support shipping and receiving tasks including loading/unloading, packing, and documentation
• Participate in safety protocols and ensure the work area remains clean and hazard-free
• Report issues with equipment or materials and help troubleshoot basic problems
• Assist with quality control checks and documentation
• Respond to maintenance needs or repair requests as they arise
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support production and facility operations

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in electrical and mechanical assembly
• Able to follow instructions, diagrams, and schematics
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy materials
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Willingness to learn new skills and grow into a more specialized role over time
• Basic safety awareness and commitment to working safely
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical stamina to work in various environments and lift heavy equipment when required
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• 2 years of experience as a general labor, maintenance, or plant support role preferred but not required
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production setting is an asset
• Exposure to electrical work or interest in learning is an advantage
• Forklift certification or experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

WORKING CONDITIONS

• This role requires physical activity, including standing for long periods, bending, lifting, and working in various plant and warehouse conditions
• Must be comfortable working with machinery, tools, and electrical equipment with relevant safety
