Description
New Exciting General Labor Opportunity in Norfolk!
Job Duties:
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials, tools, and equipment throughout the shipyard.
- Clean work areas, vessels, dry docks, and production facilities.
- Remove debris, insulation, rubber, scrap materials, and hazardous waste in accordance with safety regulations.
- Support painting, blasting, and preservation activities as directed.
- Follow all shipyard safety procedures, including PPE requirements.
- Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and various weather conditions.
- Perform other labor-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- 6 months of previous shipyard experience
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in physically demanding environments.
Schedule:
- Monday- Thursday 6am-4:30pm
- Friday & Saturday 6am-2:30pm
