Job Description
General Labor PainterPay: $19.00+ DOE1st Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Responsibilities
Read and follow work orders to determine the color, type, and quantity of paint required.
Prepare parts for painting by deburring and removing sharp edges, shavings, dirt, grease, and rust.
Clean and prepare parts according to production requirements.
Hang parts and materials on the conveyor line for the painting process.
Assist with operating powder coating equipment to apply powder paint.
Assist skilled painters with refilling paint tanks and materials as needed.
Assist with changing colors and preparing equipment as required.
Assist in the Clean up of spray equipment, tools, machines, and the surrounding work area.
Maintain accurate records of paint and other materials used.
Follow all company safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing, painting, powder coating, or general labor experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to safely use basic hand tools.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, hang, and move parts and materials.
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks.
