Position: Production Associate Door Manufacturing
City: Sacramento, CA
Range of Pay: $18.00
Shift: 1st Shift (Overtime may be required)
Job Summary:
Protech Staffing is seeking reliable and motivated Production Associates to support the manufacturing of high-quality interior and exterior doors. This position involves assembling door components, operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, and preparing finished products for shipment. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Assemble wood door components according to production specifications.
Operate production machinery, saws, presses, sanders, and other manufacturing equipment safely.
Measure, cut, trim, sand, and finish materials using hand and power tools.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and manufacturing instructions.
Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
Package and prepare completed doors for shipping.
Maintain clean and organized work areas following all safety guidelines.
Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or production delays to supervisors.
Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality workmanship.

Qualifications:

Previous manufacturing, assembly, woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, construction, or production experience preferred.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring tapes, and basic shop equipment is highly preferred.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work overtime as production demands require.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
Exposure to wood dust, machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear.
Overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required based on production needs.
