General Laborer
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable General Laborers to support work inside newly constructed Amazon facilities. Responsibilities include assembling storage racks, cleaning work areas, removing debris, and assisting with various site preparation and completion tasks. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to perform physical labor in an active construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install warehouse storage racks and related components.
- Pick up trash, debris, and construction materials to maintain a clean and safe worksite.
- Assist with site cleanup and final preparation activities.
- Move materials, tools, and equipment throughout the facility.
- Support supervisors and skilled trades as needed.
- Follow all site safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Perform general labor duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to work safely in an active construction setting.
- Previous construction or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
Work Environment
- Indoor work within newly constructed Amazon distribution and fulfillment facilities.
- Fast-paced construction environment.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, and work boots.
Physical Demands
- Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to work extended shifts as needed.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
