Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Grease & Oil Technician to join a manufacturing maintenance team in Tulsa. This entry-level position is responsible for lubricating production equipment, changing oils and filters, and assisting maintenance technicians with routine preventive maintenance tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn industrial maintenance, and is looking to grow into a skilled maintenance career. No prior maintenance experience is required training is provided.
Required Experience & Skills
Ability to understand and communicate in English for safety and workplace communication
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Willingness to perform dirty, hands-on industrial work
Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift
Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures
No prior maintenance experience required training provided
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform scheduled greasing and lubrication of production machinery and equipment
Change oils, filters, and lubricants according to preventive maintenance schedules
Maintain clean work areas, lubrication equipment, and maintenance tools
Inspect equipment for leaks, excessive wear, or maintenance concerns and report findings to maintenance personnel
Assist maintenance technicians with basic maintenance and repair tasks as assigned
Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
Support preventive maintenance activities to help minimize equipment downtime
Perform additional maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous industrial, warehouse, construction, or manufacturing experience
Basic mechanical knowledge or experience using hand tools
Interest in developing industrial maintenance skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team
Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Comfortable working around industrial equipment while wearing required PPE
Ability to perform physically demanding work in a manufacturing environment
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing facility
Exposure to grease, oil, dirt, lubricants, cleaning chemicals, and production equipment
