We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator for a manufacturing facility in Wickliffe, OH. This position involves setting up and operating production equipment, monitoring processes, and ensuring parts meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate: $18/hr. - $20.00/hr.
Shift: 1st Shift (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the #10 Bar Turner according to production specifications.
- Ensure machinery is in proper working condition before and during operation.
- Read and interpret work orders and product specifications.
- Identify correct tooling based on steel grades.
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and tape measures.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding equipment or production issues.
- Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company and safety policies, including ISO 9001:2008 standards.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to read and use measuring instruments (mics, calipers, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
