Job Description
Job Title: General Laborer Basic Purpose of the Position: - Upon evaluation and interview, employees may serve in roles such as but not limited to:
- Machine Operator Assistant
- Assembly Support
- Welding Support
- Additional Support Functions
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Proficiently complete all production and quality documentation.
- Maintain acceptable production rates within the skill level, by meeting or exceeding efficiency goals.
- Perform quality checks to ensure materials, parts and workmanship are compliant with engineering requirements and production expectations.
- Maintain acceptable production rates within the skill level, by meeting or exceeding efficiency goals.
- Contribute to Lean and 5s Implemented in your areas.
- Must be a self-starter that can work without supervision.

- Able to understand and follow blueprints and/or documentation
- Proficiently complete all documents pertaining to the process
- Assist in other areas of the shop when required
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic shop math (i.e. add/subtract/divide/multiply, whole numbers and fractions)
- Read a tape measure to within 1/16”
- A General understanding of common hand tools is preferred.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to read and understand all engineering prints related to the process
- Able to trouble shoot and solve problems related to the process
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Manufacturing environment
- Continuous standing, squatting, bending, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday
- Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs.
- Wear PPE when required – Manufacturing Areas
- Climb and work off of ladders
- Shift work, days or evenings, Monday through Friday and some Saturday’s.
- Willingness to work any shift including weekends for training purposes and or production requirements.
