General Laborer

Location: Ashland, VA

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to join a growing team in Ashland, VA. This position offers long-term opportunities for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Candidates will assist with material handling, assembly and disassembly of products, machine operation support, and general production duties.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble materials and components according to specifications.
• Load and unload materials, products, and equipment from containers and machines.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Cut, measure, and prepare materials for production and assembly.
• Assist with machine loading and unloading operations.
• Move materials throughout the facility and worksite as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Perform other general labor and production tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general labor, manufacturing, construction, production, or warehouse environments.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• May push or pull materials 50+lbs.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
