General Laborer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The General Laborer supports daily fabrication shop operations through a variety of manual labor tasks including painting, material handling, cleaning, shop maintenance, and general production support.

Candidates must be moderately skilled in painting and capable of preparing, painting, and

finishing fabricated products with attention to quality and detail.

• Perform general physical tasks such as painting, cleaning, lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials or equipment.
• Prepare surfaces and apply paint and coatings with quality workmanship.
• Assist skilled workers as needed while following instructions and safety guidelines.
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report hazards.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and storage processes.
• Help with setup and breakdown of work areas or temporary structures.
• Follow company and regulatory safety procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Capacity to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to safety and reliability.
• Demonstrated painting experience and ability to produce quality finishes.

Working Conditions:

The position may require standing, walking, or moving inventory for

extended periods. Work may be required in warehouse environments
