General Laborer

Nesco Resource is hiring General Laborers!

We are seeking dependable, hardworking General Laborers for full-time opportunities in a precast concrete manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position assisting with the production, preparation, finishing, and movement of precast concrete products.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the production of precast concrete products.
• Prepare, clean, and set up concrete forms and molds for production.
• Assist with pouring, spreading, vibrating, leveling, and finishing concrete.
• Strip and remove forms after concrete products have cured.
• Clean forms and apply release agents in preparation for the next pour.
• Assist with placing rebar, wire mesh, embeds, and reinforcement materials.
• Measure materials and components using a tape measure.
• Perform basic concrete patching, grinding, and finishing as needed.
• Use hand and power tools, including grinders, drills, saws, hammers, and other production tools.
• Assist welders, finishers, crane operators, and other production employees as needed.
• Move and stage materials throughout the production area.
• Clean work areas and remove excess concrete and debris.
• Follow instructions, production specifications, and established work procedures.
• Work safely around cranes, forklifts, heavy equipment, and suspended loads.
• Follow all required PPE, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
• Perform additional production and general labor duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, construction, concrete, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
• Precast concrete experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure preferred.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and lift materials as required.
• Comfortable working around concrete, dust, noise, heavy machinery, and varying temperatures.
• Must be safety-conscious and able to follow instructions.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
