Overview
General Laborer
The General Laborer assists in the overall completion of Facilities Services Team tasks. The General Laborer works with the Facilities Services team to execute work priorities, work orders, customer follow-up and quality control. Tasks may involve general groundskeeping, painting, and moving as needed by the Facilities Services Team.
Employees of Ursinus College must possess excellent customer service skills and have an overall concern for the general welfare of the college and community and provide the best possible environment for education and student living.

Requirements and Qualifications
Qualifications:
Mandatory
General knowledge of facilities trades and cleaning practices.
Must be able to climb ladders and lift 50 - 100 pounds.
Ability to work collaboratively with other supervisors.
High School Diploma.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
Preferred
2-3 years facilities support experience.
Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to manage a student work group.
Forklift operator's license.
Pesticide License Core and Category # 23
