General Laborer – Warehouse

Location: San Bernardino, CA
Job Type: Temporary / As-Needed
Schedule: Variable – 8 to 12 hour shifts- Generally starting shift at 7 Am, sometimes earlier when needed.
Pay: $24.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and dependable General Laborer to support warehouse operations in San Bernardino, CA. This is a temporary, as-needed position with a highly variable schedule. Work schedules will be provided in advance based on business needs.

The ideal candidate is punctual, dependable, communicates well, and is comfortable working a flexible schedule. Some assignments may require working multiple consecutive days, including up to 15 days in a row, while other periods may have little or no work for several weeks.

This position does not guarantee a set number of hours or days per week.

Responsibilities

• Open and lock warehouse gates, doors, and access points as directed
• Monitor and report employee/vendor/visitor entry and exit activity to the manager
• Maintain accurate communication with management regarding who enters and exits the facility
• Perform general warehouse labor and support duties
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining a safe, organized work environment
• Help with general warehouse tasks as assigned
• Follow all company safety procedures and instructions
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and management

Schedule & Availability

• Temporary, as-needed work schedule
• Shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours
• Work schedules will be provided in advance
• Some assignments may require working up to 15 consecutive days
• There may also be periods of several weeks without scheduled work
• Candidates must be comfortable with this variable schedule and able to commit to scheduled assignments

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, general labor, security, facilities, or similar experience is a plus
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to maintain a professional and dependable presence on-site
• Must be flexible and available for varying work schedules
• Ability to perform general physical/warehouse duties
• Must pass a background check
