We're seeking dedicated individuals to join a leading Metal Manufacturing company in Kentwood, Michigan, as General Laborers and Hoist Operators. In these positions, you'll play a crucial role in the metal finishing operations, ensuring the quality and efficiency of the production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Safely operate hoists and other lifting equipment to transport materials and products within the facility.
• Inspection: Perform quality checks on plated parts, ensuring they meet high standards for the automotive and motorcycle industries.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and basic maintenance of hoisting equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required; we provide training for motivated individuals.
• Skills: Ability to operate hoisting equipment safely; basic math skills; attention to detail.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Schedule: We have 1st and 2nd shift positions available:
  • 1st Shift: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $14.00 to $16.50 per hour, commensurate with experience and position.
