General Laborer I

Job Summary
Our client, a leading food distribution company, is seeking 20 General Laborer I team members to support warehouse and distribution operations at their Hampshire, IL facility. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates with 0-3 years of relevant experience who are looking to grow in a warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Sort, pack, palletize, and dispose of pallets as needed
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
- Relabel cases and pallets according to operational requirements
- Restack cases and pallets to maintain product integrity and organization
- Assist with general warehouse operations and additional manual labor tasks as assigned
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Required Qualifications
- 0-3 years of experience in a warehouse or manual labor role
- Ability to perform repetitive manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work under direct supervision and follow established procedures
- Strong attention to safety compliance standards
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with palletizing or loading/unloading trailers
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment and processes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

About the Role
This is a contract position with an estimated duration based on business needs, located at 200 Flannigan Rd, Hampshire, IL 60140. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, totaling 40 hours per week. Potential overtime may be available on Sundays, subject to approval.
