General Laborer

Openwork is currently seeking dependable and hardworking General Labor Associates for an opportunity in La Porte, TX. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable performing physical work, working in a warehouse environment, and willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  Key Responsibilities

• Stack and move bags and materials
• Clean and organize pallets
• Perform manual rewrapping of materials
• Assist with various general labor and warehouse tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company rules, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Work as part of a team and assist with additional duties as needed
• Be willing to learn and take on responsibilities beyond basic manual labor

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, including possible extreme weather conditions
• Must be willing to work additional hours, including weekends and holidays
• Punctuality is a must — must arrive on time and ready to work
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Open-minded and willing to learn new tasks
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team
• Must be willing to follow all company rules, procedures, and safety requirements

• Pay: $15.00/hour
• Schedule: Rotational 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
