Job Summary: We are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Laborer to join our team at our locations Saline, Milan, Ann Arbor, and/or Dundee. This position involves assisting with a variety of tasks related to landscaping and home remodeling. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to perform physical labor in various outdoor and indoor environments. Key Responsibilities: Landscaping Duties: - Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and planting.
- Assist with the installation of hardscapes, including patios, retaining walls, walkways, and more.
- Maintain and repair lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools.
- Remove debris, weeds, and other unwanted materials from job sites.
Home Remodeling Duties: - Assist with demolition, including removing old materials such as drywall, flooring, and fixtures.
- Support the installation of new materials, including flooring, cabinets, and other construction elements.
- Perform basic carpentry, painting, and finishing tasks as directed under a skilled carpenter.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of remodeling sites.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in landscaping or construction/remodeling is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with landscaping and construction tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
