General Laborer

Location: Myrtle Beach, SC 29579
Pay: $18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, beginning at 8:00 AM and continuing until all assigned pools are completed

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and skilled General Laborer to ride along with the Service Manager and assist with pool and spa service and repair projects throughout the Myrtle Beach area. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working outdoors, and willing to learn pool maintenance and repair techniques.

This is a hands-on position that requires physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions while working efficiently as part of a service team.

Responsibilities

• Ride with the Service Manager to assigned residential and commercial pool locations
• Assist with diagnosing, servicing, and repairing pools, spas, pumps, filters, plumbing systems, and related equipment
• Carry, organize, and prepare tools, equipment, chemicals, and repair materials
• Assist with replacing or repairing pool components and equipment
• Help clean and prepare work areas before, during, and after each service visit
• Follow instructions from the Service Manager and complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and work environment
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers and team members
• Follow all safety procedures when handling tools, equipment, and pool chemicals
• Perform additional general labor and pool service duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous general labor, maintenance, construction, plumbing, mechanical, landscaping, or pool service experience is preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is preferred
• Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn pool and spa repair
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat, humidity, and changing weather conditions
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable transportation to the designated meeting or reporting location

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to safely handle tools, equipment, and job materials
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors throughout the workday
