General Laborer

General Laborer - Novi, Michigan
Contract position through first week of November
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour


Duties of the General Laborer:
The utility position will cover all the normal responsibilities of a cleaner (below) with the additional expectations of operating a ride-along floor scrubber for at least 4-6 hours per shift. This includes operating the machine throughout the facility and cleaning it in the wash bay after every use.

Duties required are as follows but not limited to within reason and management instruction:

• Cleaning restrooms, spills following safe practice procedures, high and low traffic areas, and office spaces
• Wiping all glass windows and door when required
• Trash removal and compacting throughout site operational areas
• Box breakdown when required
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum

Requirements of the General Laborer:

• Must have experience operating Zamboni-style or ride-along floor scrubber machines
• Must be committed to the work as described
• Must be available for weekend work when required
• Must have evidence past cleaning experience - preferably in manufacturing, hospital, or school setting shown in resume
• Required Skills: Cleaning, Trash Removal, Glass Cleaning, Zamboni-style machine, operating ride-along floor scrubber machines, vacuuming, box breakdown, sweeping, and mopping

A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.
