    What You'll Do

    As a General Laborer, you will play an essential role in supporting the tire retreading process and helping produce a high-quality, cost-effective product for our customers. This hands-on position requires working in a fast-paced production environment while performing physical tasks, operating equipment, and following established safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and committed to contributing to a safe and efficient workplace.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Inspect and buff tire carcasses to prepare them for the retreading and remanufacturing process.
    • Apply rubber compounds to prepare tires for curing.
    • Safely operate equipment and machinery used in the production of retreaded tires.
    • Perform quality control inspections to ensure finished products meet McCarthy Tire Service standards for safety and performance.
    • Scan and track tires throughout each stage of the retread process to maintain accurate production records.
    • Follow all company safety procedures, guidelines, and requirements while properly using appropriate protective equipment.
    • Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support daily operations.

    What We’re Looking For

    • High School Diploma or GED preferred

    • Ability to follow safety procedures and work safely at all times
    • Willingness to work in a hot and physically demanding environment.

    • Comfortable working in a team-based, fast-paced setting

    • Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs. or more.

    • Goal-oriented with a commitment to meeting production and quality standards

    • Flexibility to work Saturdays, as needed

    • Must comply with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
