    Description

    • Receive incoming materials, tools, and components; verify counts, inspect for damage, and complete receiving documentation.
    • Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, packaging, and generating required paperwork.
    • Operate a Hi‑Lo forklift to move materials, tooling, and finished parts throughout the facility.
    • Perform packing and finishing operations on tools and parts manufactured in-house (cleaning, deburring, protective wrapping, final inspection, etc.).
    • Maintain organized storage areas, inventory locations, and shipping supplies.
    • Assist production by staging materials and delivering parts to workstations as needed.
    • Complete daily logs, shipping records, and inventory updates with accuracy.
    • Follow all safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and quality standards.
    • Support general shop tasks as required to keep workflow moving.

    Requirements

    • Hi‑Lo / forklift driving experience (certification preferred; company can train if needed).
    • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
    • Basic computer skills for shipping software, labels, and inventory entry.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
    • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
    • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
      • Manufacturing shop setting with daily interaction with production, tooling, and quality teams.
      • Standing, walking, bending, and material handling throughout the shift.
      • Use of PPE as required (safety glasses, gloves, steel‑toe boots, etc.).
