General Laborers

Edgestone Staffing is Hiring General Labors in Ayer, MA

We are looking for warehouse worker/General Labors working on 1st shift into a food manufacturing plant located in Ayer, MA

Main Responsibilities:

·         Carrying and moving heavy parts and equipment

·         Organizing and relocating items within the warehouse or worksite

·         Lifting and transporting items up and down stairs

·         Moving pallets, boxes, and packing materials

·         Delivering and arranging materials or parts to designated locations

·         Cleaning and organizing the work site, both inside and outside as needed

·         Other on-site support tasks as directed by supervisors

Requirements:

• Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch, climb stairs, walk, and stand during entire shift.
• Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist and reach overhead with repetitive motions.
• Ability to safely push and pull carts and move equipment.
• Reliable and responsible work attitude
• Able to follow instructions and adapt to repetitive tasks and on-site work
• Steel-toe safety shoes

Remarks:

• Pallet jack or forklift operation if possible.
• Previous warehouse, maintenance or moving experience is a plus.
• Hours 8:30 -4:30
