Job Description
Financial Additions is searching for a General Ledger Accountant for a 1-3 month contract role in north Dallas. This is an in-office position - company needs an extra set of hands ASAP, so quick interview and start date for right candidate!
Duties include:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger activity for multiple real estate investment funds.
Prepare and support quarterly investor reporting, including ILPA-standard reporting packages.
Analyze partnership expenses and accurately allocate costs across multiple expense categories.
Ensure professional fees and other fund-related expenses are properly classified and reported.
Collaborate with fund management and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
Qualfications include:
3+ years in general ledger or fund accounting role
Strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and expense analysis experience.
Experience researching and reclassifying transactions within large volumes of ledger activity.
Understanding of partnership accounting and investor reporting concepts.
Yardi experience is a plus but not required.
Strong Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with ILPA reporting standards.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance highly referred
