Job Description

Financial Additions is searching for a General Ledger Accountant for a 1-3 month contract role in north Dallas. This is an in-office position - company needs an extra set of hands ASAP, so quick interview and start date for right candidate!

Duties include:
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger activity for multiple real estate investment funds.
  • Prepare and support quarterly investor reporting, including ILPA-standard reporting packages.
  • Analyze partnership expenses and accurately allocate costs across multiple expense categories.
  • Ensure professional fees and other fund-related expenses are properly classified and reported.
  • Collaborate with fund management and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
Qualfications include:
  • 3+ years in general ledger or fund accounting role
  • Strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and expense analysis experience.
  • Experience researching and reclassifying transactions within large volumes of ledger activity.
  • Understanding of partnership accounting and investor reporting concepts.
  • Yardi experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with ILPA reporting standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance highly referred
