Financial Additions is searching for a General Ledger Accountant for a 1-3 month contract role in north Dallas. This is an in-office position - company needs an extra set of hands ASAP, so quick interview and start date for right candidate!
Duties include:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger activity for multiple real estate investment funds.
- Prepare and support quarterly investor reporting, including ILPA-standard reporting packages.
- Analyze partnership expenses and accurately allocate costs across multiple expense categories.
- Ensure professional fees and other fund-related expenses are properly classified and reported.
- Collaborate with fund management and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
- 3+ years in general ledger or fund accounting role
- Strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and expense analysis experience.
- Experience researching and reclassifying transactions within large volumes of ledger activity.
- Understanding of partnership accounting and investor reporting concepts.
- Yardi experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with ILPA reporting standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance highly referred
