About the role:

We're looking for a General Ledger Accountant who takes pride in the accuracy of their work and wants to be part of a collaborative finance team where their contributions truly matter.

This role can be based in LA or NY.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepaids, and reclassifications
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and proactively resolve variances
  • Lead or support month-end and quarter-end close processes
  • Maintain trial balance accuracy and ensure proper account classifications
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and disclosures
  • Partner with external auditors and help ensure a smooth audit process

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or actively pursuing CPA preferred
  • 3–6 years of GL or public accounting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience with ERP systems and close management tools
  • Advanced Excel skills

Nice to have

  • Big 4 or public accounting background is a plus
  • Experience in a logistics, transportation, warehouse, or service industry is a plus
  • Bilingual English/Mandarin a plus
