General Liability Associate Attorney ( Hybrid in Madison, NJ ) ( Full-Time )
Location: hybrid schedule in Madison, New Jersey
Salary: $130K - $190K Base Salary

Must-Haves:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey
• Admission in New York is a plus
• 2 years of experience with insurance defense litigation (general liability or personal injury defense, product liability defense or construction defense)
• Some experience with motion practice, report writing, discovery, and depositions preferred

The Position

My client is seeking a general liability associate attorney to join a team of exceptional professionals in a collaborative environment and represent sophisticated clients with complex legal challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey
• Admission in New York a plus
• 2 years of experience with insurance defense litigation (general liability or personal injury defense, product liability defense or construction defense)
• Some experience with motion practice, report writing, discovery and depositions preferred
• Trial and trial preparation experience is a plus
• Superior written and oral communication skills
