We are seeking a skilled General Liability Attorney to join our legal team in the Chicago area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling general liability cases and providing legal advice and counsel to clients.
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of general liability matters from inception to resolution
Conduct legal research and provide analysis of laws and regulations
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
Appear in court for hearings, mediations, and trials
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the state
3+ years of experience in general liability defense
Strong research and writing skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
