divh2Maintenance Technician I/h2pShift Details:/pp11:00pm - 7:30am/ppIt is the responsibility of the Maintenance Technician I to perform project maintenance and repairs including installation work on mechanical, electrical, plumbing equipment, building systems, flooring, painting, and carpentry. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures./ph2How You Will Create the Extraordinary/h2ulliAssists with repairs of mechanical equipment including heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment, fan coils, chiller and boiler preventive maintenance, pumps, water softener systems, cooling towers, energy management systems, and electrical, including wiring motors and motor controls./liliAssists with installs, operates, maintains, and repairs all building automation systems (BAS) and equipment./liliInstall, connects, and tests sanity plumbing fixtures including: sinks, toilets, cleanout, copper, piping, etc./liliChecks electrical circuits, refrigeration controls and contacts./liliWorks with power ranging from low to medium voltages./liliHandles regular preventative maintenance of all HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Maintains inventory of supplies under guidance of Facilities Manager./liliFamiliar with and operates Energy Management System./liliResponsible for preventative and regular maintenance of equipment and infrastructure./liliPerforms daily routine maintenance./liliWorks under guidance of preventative maintenance and work order program./liliPerform preventive maintenance work orders according to schedule and plan./liliComplete and submit paperwork in a timely manner, so that the work order system can be properly updated./liliOperates scissor and boom lifts and climbs ladders to access elevated areas such as ceilings and catwalks./liliOperates and maintains appropriate tools and equipment daily for troubleshooting on site./liliFamiliar with the repair of electrical equipment./liliWork with wood, metal in building facility structures (walls, closets, offices) and installing cabinets./liliAssists with construction and finishing work./liliRepair furniture, doors, slot machine stands, and gambling tables./liliFabricates office partitions, doors, cornices, counters, panel walls and ceilings./liliReplaces burned out light bulbs, checks electrical circuits, repair dimmers, refrigeration controls and contacts./liliResponsible for all preparation necessary to ensure proper application of paints, varnishes, sealers and rust-proofing./liliConducts regular inspections of life safety systems, including fire extinguishers./liliMaintains office, shops and mechanical areas within company standards./liliInstalls and/or repairs carpet and vinyl flooring as directed./liliResurfacing on minor reconstruction of wood furniture./liliPerform all types of carpet repairs and small to mid-size carpet installations./liliKnowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved./liliAssure each days activities and problems that occur are communicated to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards./liliWill participate in inclement weather emergencies./liliWorks closely with Maintenance II team members in developing their skills./liliSubmit requests for parts, equipment, tools and supplies in a timely manner./liliTake inventory as assigned./liliUses computer for tracking of maintenance activities, email communication, Outlook calendar, internet search and purchasing, and various systems; e.g. training, etc./liliFollow company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions./liliLearn and understand companys policies, procedures, and regulations related to operations, guest relations, human resources, safety, security and loss prevention/liliMinor installations repairs to building automation systems (BAS) components./liliMust be knowledgeable in seam repair, patch repair, rest retching, glue down, tack strip, measurement and estimating of carpet and padding yardage, and installation of padding, edging, banding, and base cove./liliMaintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, including safely operating lifts./liliDrives and operates company vehicles./liliResponds to and resolves guest complaints in a timely manner and creatively solves problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties./li/ulh2What You Will Need/h2ulliHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate is required./liliThree (3) years experiences in specific skill area or one (1) year experience and/or educational requirements from an accredited institution./liliPrevious experience in mechanical maintenance work is required./liliGood working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)./liliEnsures the privacy and confidentiality of guests and limits requests for information pertaining to guests in accordance with Company policies./liliDisplay and maintain a sense of urgency in regard to all Casino business.
