Job Brief

We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day facility and office needs. This role requires the ability to work with hand tools, perform basic building maintenance, assemble office furniture, and assist with general upkeep. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, follows direction well, and works effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic building maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and general upkeep
• Use hand tools safely and effectively for routine maintenance and assembly tasks
• Assemble and move office furniture as needed
• Assist with facility organization and cleanliness
• Identify maintenance needs and report issues to management
• Follow instructions and safety protocols at all times
• Work collaboratively with team members and support other departments as needed

Requirements

• Experience working with basic hand tools
• General knowledge of simple building and office maintenance
• Ability to assemble office furniture accurately and efficiently
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow instructions and take direction well
• Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, carry, and move furniture and equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and use hand tools for extended periods
• Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, or general labor role
• Basic troubleshooting or repair experience
• Indoor office and facility setting
• Occasional physical labor required
