Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in keeping operations running safely, efficiently, and without interruption. This position is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, fabrication, and equipment installation, ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime. Your work directly supports productivity, safety, and long-term operational success.

Work Hours (Shift)
3rd shift, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (6pm – 6am)

Pay (Hourly or Annual Salary)
Starting at $28/hr. and up based on experience 

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance, including lubrication, disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues with minimal supervision.
  • Fabricate and assemble components using welding (ARC, MIG, TIG), cutting tools, and grinders.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Assist with machinery installation, assembly, and upgrades.
  • Perform general plumbing and facility maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Maintain and manage maintenance parts inventory to support continuous operations.
  • Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques.
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical systems and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Independent, reliable problem-solver with strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with mechanical repair, fabrication, and equipment maintenance.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and tools as required.
  • Comfortable working in an industrial environment during overnight shifts.
